  • My summary is from a review on 2k Marin's "Bioshock 2". A first-person RPG originated from the first of the series "Bioshock". "Bioshock 2" is taken place in Rapture (an underwater city more or less based off the conception of Atlantis) meanwhile Ryan, the antagonist from "Bioshock", has just passed away. As the death of Ryan is being recovered, Sofia Lamb, a new antagonist, has had her allies to mind-control subject delta (the player you play) to commit suicide. Eight years later after subject has died he is revived by the help of his old ally, Eleanor Lamb (the daughter of Sofia), he goes to get revenge from Sofia. As you play subject delta, you go through Rapture discovering your old allies as they inform you about what Sofia Lamb has done with Rapture since your death and the death of Ryan. Nicky Woolf does a terrific job of explaining the games plot and how awesome the dynamics of the game are displayed.

  • What was your personal reaction to this reading selection?
My reaction to reading this review is great. I belive Nicky did phenominal on helping gamers realize how good of a series Bioshock is. Bioshock is an under-rated game, and Nicky sure knows how to show gamers that there isn't a reason why it should be. I'm impressed by the opinion of Nicky because he explains the
storyline and states how the gameplay is so amazing.

  • What do you believe the author’s intent was, and what patterns of organization did you observe?
Nicky's intent was to review the game. As he reviewed it he truely shows, gamers who are reading, how good of a game Bioshock really is. Patterns of organization usually pass around being spatial because he goes from telling the plot and then explaining the dynamics of the combat.
